million+ responds to Public Accounts Committee report on funding support for students at alternative higher education providers

Responding to the publication of the report which focuses on control over funding for alternative higher education bodies, Pam Tatlow, Chief Executive of million+ said:
“The rapid expansion of this unregulated sector is a failed experiment that has cost taxpayers far too much. When vital funding streams such as the Student Opportunity Allocation are under constant threat of cutbacks the last thing the Government should be doing is throwing any more money into the black hole of private providers.”
