Official statistics on the graduate and postgraduate labour market in England published today (8 September) show high employment rates for graduates compared to non-graduates. Salaries for graduates are also much higher than for non-graduates.
Commenting on the statistics, Pam Tatlow, Chief Executive of million+, said:
“Today’s labour market statistics show that graduates and postgraduates have far higher employment rates than non-graduates. They are also much more likely to work in higher skilled jobs, and as a consequence earn better salaries than non-graduates. These figures confirm that going to university is one of the best decisions a person can take to improve their employment prospects.”
