Professor Andrea Nolan, Vice-Chancellor at Edinburgh Napier University and Convener of Universities Scotland, has expressed concerns about the UK Government’s reforms of higher education to the Scottish Parliament’s Education and Skills committee.
“[The post-study visa pilot for graduates from overseas not including any Scottish universities] came as a shock to us,” said Professor Nolan. “The broader issue of students and immigration policy is one that is impacting on our ability to recruit, and impacting hard.”
